Migrate your existing website over to
our New
Web Hosting Software
Migration is the term we use for transferring an existing website hosted on another server over to the Eclipse Online Solutions' New
Advanced Web Hosting Software.
Once
your existing website is migrated over to our system, you to will then be able to benefit from
all the user friendly Modules and Applications within the Software.
The website migration process consists of a Stage 1 and possibly a Stage 2 procedure.
Stage
1 (£399)
You simply supply us with your website domain name and a 50% deposit (£199.50) and we start the migration
process. You will be supplied with a link so that you can view your website at
anytime during the migration process.
After the Stage 1 migration has been completed, you will be asked to fully check your website - to include all content, navigation and functions. If there are any errors or missing items or files you will prepare a full list for us to investigate. Sometimes websites of considerable size or ones that have applications/files (see Migration Terms & Conditions) do not fully migrate at the first attempt.
If there are any missing items you will need to supply us with a full detailed list so that we can then investigate the reason why. The conclusion of our investigation will decide if a Stage 2 is required. If a Stage 2 is required we will provide you with a quote to carry out the extra work to achieve a full migration.
Please Note: A high number of websites fully migrate using just the Stage 1 procedure resulting in you only paying the £399 fee.
Stage 2
The additional cost associated with the Stage 2 migration is related to labour-only and it involves manually retrieving and uploading files from your existing website to the new.
If a Stage 2 is required you will have 2 options:
Option 1 = Agree to the Stage 2 migration quote and instruct us to complete the migration.
Option
2 = You can decide against continuing with the migration and in this
case we will simply refund the 50% (£199.50) payment minus a £99 admin
fee.
Please note: Your existing live website will not be affected in any way whilst the website migration process is in operation.
Once
the migration of your website to the Eclipse Online Solutions
Software is complete, you will be given 7 days to view and fully check
all pages and links etc. Once you notify us that you are fully satisfied with
your new migrated website, you will then be required to pay any
outstanding balance. We we will send your new website live.
You will then take full control of your new Online Business.
Tip! At
this stage you may want to take the time to consider the needs of your new Online
Business, how your website looks, how old your
content is and your new online business goals. From as little as £250 we
can give your website a completely new look and update the content and
pictures.
